09/08/2009 - Spectacular Sunshine Opening for New Stadium

The new look North Lodge Park was there for all to see on Saturday. It sparkled in the bright August sunlight and a whopping 751 crowd turned up. Pre match entertaiment was provided by the Buchan Pipe Band warming up for the World Championships next week, followed by a spectacular drop from the Golden Lions parachute team who streamed Formartine red flares and delivered the match ball to the centre circle. How smart is that then?

Sponsors for this bit of local history were Udny Building Services/Ian Fraser Decor with Bardon Aggregates as match ball Sponsors.

It all looked and worked well demonstrating Formartine's ability to meet the demands of the highest level of football thy have so far achieved.

The drive and ambition of Chairman Cadger, along with the longer term sponsorship of his company, Rollstud and the recent addition of Abu Dhabi based KOSTCO [Kaddas Oilfield Services and Trading Company] deserves all the respect that this level of achievement for the club has reached.  We thank them sincerely.

04/08/2009 - HUGE SPONSORSHIP DEAL

Chairman Atholl Cadger has finalised a sponsorship deal with Abu Dhabi based Kaddas Oilfield Service and Trading Company, KOSTCO. It's worth £100,000 over the next 3 years and yes, the comma is in the right place -ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND POUNDS!!!

This is a massive deal by any standards and adds to the already substantial financial underpinning that has been put in place to ensure that the club is in a good position to find its feet in its early years in SHFL. As the chairman put it "This is massive for us"
